The modular system for production systems
The flexcell is the optimal modular system for a variety of production and application tasks, such as spot welding, MIG/MAG welding, robot hemming and screwing. The modular system can be entered into operation quickly on site, is flexible extendable , can be moved physically within a short time, and saves resources– and the engineering comes from a single source. Too good to be true? Certainly not - because all of these issues are in our customer’s requirement specifications. That is the reason we developed the flexcell the same way.
The flexcell can be used in diverse industrial sectors, and is just as well suited for test and trial cells as it is for prototype construction and series production. It is rigorously based upon standardized modules and can be used by combining them into a widely diversified system.
The system works in many dimensions - from simple cells with one robot and one die change table, to complex system constellations with four robots, multiple positioners, automatic component population and a discharge capability.
The optional die change system enables speedy product change with automatic type detection.
The electrical and control concept also has a modular design, which is reflected in the high degree of flexibility and short implementation times. Energy efficiency also benefits - the intelligent BlueMode controller incrementally disables unused modules. A mobile operator panel also enables centralized control of all diagnostic and control options.
Quick relocation and re-commissioning
All modules can be loaded with a forklift or crane, and fit into standard trucks. Set-up also saves time with smart installation and adjustment solutions.
Therefore the flexcell is already being used as a solution for many production, application and handling tasks.
Following delivery of the systems, technical support and a spare/wearing part service via the global service network are available to our customers.
