SY tech days 2019 inspire customers and staff

SY tech days in Bremen! For four days, from 6 to 9 May 2019, everything revolved around the topics of e-mobility and digitalization.

More than 150 customers, suppliers and research and development partners took the opportunity to inform themselves about our assembly and test systems for electric drives as well as topics such as Future Automotive Factory, Data Logging & Analytics, exoskeletons and virtual training. A total of 20 exciting products and solutions with a focus on the Operating Unit Powertrain Solutions were presented. In addition, guests and employees also received up-to-date information on battery assembly and battery tray production.

Exhibits and discussions

On the first day, sales, engineering and development colleagues from various System Engineering locations in Germany and also from abroad attended the tech days. After a group tour, the participants were able to view everything individually, try out the exhibits and dive into more in depth discussions. On the second day 300 colleagues from the Bremen location came to see what the tech days were about. . The two following days were finally reserved for external visitors.

The keynote speeches by Bernd Mangler, Senior Vice President Automotive Solutions of Siemens AG about " Future of automation " and Dr. Sebastian Klemm, Head of Operational Excellence of thyssenkrupp Components Technology about " Data analytics in production systems " was also met with great interest.

Customers are impressed

The feedback was consistently positive from all sides, internally and externally. Our customers were impressed by the variety of interactive topics and the opportunity for detailed discussions with our experts. The tech days were also very well received by our colleagues. Many of them became aware that System Engineering is well positioned for the switch to e-mobility, but also in the field of digititalization.

The SY tech days are a project of the heart. They show what our company is capable of, they show what our employees are capable of achieving. Great products - which are not only geared to the present, but, more importantly, to the future
